COVID Cases Drop In Howard; Pike Records 1st Death

The Arkansas Department of Health reports Howard County saw 25 recoveries of COVID-19 Monday along with an addition of 10 new cases. Those numbers combined to put the active case total at 57 with a cumulative total of 246. Even with the number dropping yesterday, the county still has more active cases than any neighboring county.

The state also says Pike County has suffered its first death related to Covid-19. There are 20 active cases in Pike County. Elsewhere, Sevier County is showing 51 cases presently and Hempstead County has 49 active cases of COVID-19.
