Body of missing man found in Pike City

The body of a missing man from Benton was found Thursday in a wooded area in Pike City.

Deputies located the vehicle that belonged to the missing man. Sheriff Travis Hill put together a search team with Deputies, Arkansas Game and Fish , and Benton Detectives. During the search the man was located. Sheriff Hill notified the Arkansas State Police to assist with the investigation. The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

This is an ongoing investigation and as of now, no foul play is suspected.
