Outlaws Open Season on the road at Horatio

The Dierks Outlaws traveled to Conway last week to scrimmage against the Conway Christian Eagles. This week, the Outlaws open their regular season on the road against the Horatio Lions. Coach Jarrod Fannin said the Outlaws will be starting a new quarterback, but their goal is the same and that’s to run the ball effectively.

Defensively, the Outlaws will work at playing assignment football in order to stop the high powered offenses in the 7-2a West conference.

Fannin said the Lions are playing hard under their new head football coach.

Fannin said the first 600 fans will be able to attend Friday night’s game. Kickoff is set for 7 pm.
