U of A hosts DT with ties to Howard County
The University of Arkansas is hosting a football recruit this weekend who has connections to our area. Kayden McDonald is listed as a four star recruit at the Defensive Tackle position. He plays high school football in Suwanee, Georgia, but has family ties to Howard County. McDonald was born in Texarkana and his mother, Kristi Green, is from Mineral Springs.
McDonald is listed at 6-3 and 325 pounds. He currently has nearly three dozen college scholarship offers. In addition to Arkansas, McDonald also already has offers to play football at schools including Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Ohio State, among others.
