Scrapperettes falls short in matchup against the Lady Tigers
Friday night, the Nashville Scrapperettes Varsity Basketball Team battled it out against the Little Rock Central Lady Tigers. In the First quarter the Lady Tigers outscored the Scrapperettes 16 to 12. The Scrapperettes would then add 17 extra points to the board in the second quarter putting them in the lead 29 to the Lady Tiger’s 26. The Scrapperettes fought so hard to catch up to the Lady Tigers in the fourth quarter but came up short by 8 points with the final score 54 to 62.
The top scorers for Friday night’s game were Caroline Dean with 20 points, Jessie Lyle with 13 points, and Shalyn Lyle with 12 points.
