Arkansas band with Nashville ties releases self-titled album

An Arkansas band with Nashville ties has released a self-titled album this week.

Chris Tollett is the son of Jay and Terri Tollett and a member of the band, Blackwater Bayou.

Tollett said the album features nine original songs in their style of southern rock and blues. He said every Arkansan will be able to identify with their music.

Tollett said Blackwater Bayou consist of four guys from Arkansas.

The band spent the past year playing shows around the state, from the Hall and Dreamland Ballroom in Little Rock to festivals in Fordyce, Braynt and Hope.
