Arkansas State Representative selected as VP of the 2023-2024 Women’s Legislative Network
On July 21st, Arkansas State Representative DeAnn Vaught was nominated and selected as the Vice-President of the 2023-2024 Women’s Legislative Network of NCSL. The Women’s Legislative Network of NCSL is an organization that includes all women legislators in the 50 states by virtue of their election to office. The network began when female legislators gathered at NCSL meetings in the late 1970s.
Rep. DeAnn Vaught is serving her fifth term in the Arkansas House and represents District 87 which includes Little River County and portions of Sevier, Little River, and Howard Counties. Rep. Vaught also serves on the House Education Committee and the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee, and the Arkansas Legislative Council.
Vaught was recognized and suited for this endeavor because of her commitment to the Women’s Legislative Network of NCLS along with her dedication to public service.
