Bandits postpone July 2 event at Diamond Park

(NASHVILLE, AR) June 22, 2022 – The Bandit Outlaw Sprint Car Series and the Diamond Park Speedway have agreed to postpone the scheduled July 2, 2022, race date due to the extreme fuel prices and tire shortages in the region.

Series officials and track management are looking at alternate dates later this fall to bring the BOSS Sprint Cars to Diamond Park.

The remainder of the July 2 event will still go on as planned to showcase a huge fireworks extravaganza and the 2nd Annual Tex Myers 8Ball Classic paying $888 to win and $88 to start for IMCA Mod Lites.  USRA Tuners $500 to win $50 to start, Sportsman, USRA Factory Stock, and Arkansas Factory Stocks $1,000 to win $50 to start.

USRA Tuners and Arkansas Factory stocks will have a $30 entry fee.
