Bradford speaks to Nashville Rotary Club

Wednesday, 9 West Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Jana Bradford spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club.

She stated she has been an attorney for 29-years and a prosecutor in Pike County for 25-years. Bradford told stories from her private practice and from her time as a prosecutor. Bradford said the thing she’s learned as a lawyer is that you have to care about your clients and help people, including victims of crimes, who need your help.

Bradford explained that about 5 to 10 cases go to trail each year in each of the four counties that make up the 9 West District. Bradford explained how drug court works and she tried to clarify why convicted felonies don’t serve their full sentences.
