The Daisy Volunteer Fire Department will be having an introduction to firefighting class on Saturday, October 19th at 8 a.m. A PPE or personal protective equipment class will also be offered on October 20th at 8 a.m. These classes are available to any firefighter needing these courses. The Daisy community will hold Octoberfest, a fundraiser to help with improvements to the Daisy City Park, on October 26th, starting at 4:00 at the Daisy City Park at Crawford Point. The event will feature the Wild Card Band, who will begin playing at 6:00. Bring lawn chairs. There will be food, a cake walk, and a costume contest. Also: games, a bounce house, and face painting. There will be a bbq sandwich with chips and a drink for $6 or 2 hot dogs chips and a drink for $5.

Daisy city officials thank everyone who has contributed time or monetary donations to help cleanup the city park.
