Local man arrested for Terroristic Threatening

A Nashville man has been arrested after police say he attempted to set his wife’s car on fire.  Police Chief Amy Marion said 40 year old Ryan Hainen was taken into custody after police received a call about an individual pouring gasoline on his wife’s car and attempting to burn the vehicle.  Chief Marion said the suspect left the residence in his vehicle before police arrived.  K9 Officer Greg Parker located the vehicle, and along with Officer Jarrett Rogers, were able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle.  Hainen was arrested without incident and transported to the Howard County Jail.

Chief Marion said Hainen is expected to be charged with First Degree Terroristic Threatening, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While Intoxicated.
