Dierks School Board extends Hill’s contract through 2025

On Monday, the Dierks School Board held their regular monthly meeting. 
A motion was made by Kara Tedford and seconded by Justin Simmons to re-hire Superintendent Grover Hill and extend his contract through July 1st, 2023 through June 30th, 2025 per the salary schedule.
Business Manager Kayla Jones explained to board the tax portion of the financial report and the increase in revenue.

The financial reports were approved by a consensus of the board as presented by Superintendent Hill. 
Superintendent Hill discussed that the staff has been really conscious of the testing scores.  Hill  mentioned that he wanted the scores to improve and do what it takes to be a top rated school. 

A motion was made by Justin Simmons and seconded by Laykon Graham to adopt the Proposed Budget of Expenditures with Tax Levy for Fiscal Year Beginning July 1st, 2024 to and including June 30th, 2025 and approve the related Sample Ballot.
