Hope Man Arrested on Rape and Prohibited Articles Charges

A 41-year-old man from Hope was arrested on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, after a reported incident in the 1300 block of Experiment Station Road.

It was reported that Lucino Narcisco Palma was taken into custody by officers with the Hope Police Department at approximately 7:41 a.m. Palma has been charged with rape and furnishing prohibited articles. Additional charges were possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Palma is currently being held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility, awaiting his first court appearance.
