Hospital Board Holds May Meeting
The Howard Memorial Hospital board met for its May session Tuesday evening. CFO Bill Craig the hospital was below budget in outpatient visits, emergency department visits and surgery cases but above budget in days cash on hand category.
Craig said COVID-19 impacted the hospital visits during the month of April but HMH received $459,026 in stimulus funds, an advance payment on Medicare billing in the amount of $617,716 and $2,150,300 in Paycheck Protection Program monies to end with a positive financial balance.
