Howard County EHC offering Food Safety Training

The Howard County Extension Service will be hosting the ServSafe Program, a Food Safety Training May 9th and 10th at the Howard County EHC Education Center located on 425 Second St here in Nashville.
Howard County Extension Agent Jean Ince provided the details of the event along with the requirements.

Ince also mentioned testing and what score participants would have to make in order to pass the exam.

ServSafe has been the industry standard since 1919 in training millions of people how to receive, store, prepare, and serve food safely. Through the Cooperative Extension Service, they offer training and certifications for the ServSafe Food Handler, ServSafe Manager, and ServSafe Instructor and Proctor programs.  For more information in regard to the food safety program call 870-845-7517.
