Little Rock man arrested on drug charges
Nashville police say a Little Rock man has been arrested here on drug charges. 39 year old Isaac L. King was the driver of an S.U.V. that was observed to have an inoperable headlight. Officer David Shelby conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, and while speaking with King, Shelby said he detected the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and asked King if there was anything illegal inside the S.U.V. During a search of the vehicle, Officer Shelby said he located seven individual bags of suspected marijuana and a glass jar, also containing suspected marijuana. Authorities say they also located three other glass jars containing suspected marijuana residue. Police also conducted a search of King, which they say, led to the recovery of five hundred dollars in one of King’s socks.
King was arrested and is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana, with Purpose to Deliver.
