Local Memorial Day Ceremony Canceled

The annual Memorial Day ceremony at the veterans’ monument in front of the Howard County courthouse will not take place this year. Local veteran service officer Milton Puryear says the event was canceled due to the current restrictions in place because of COVID-19.
