MS vs Mt Ida in non-conference game

The Mineral Springs Hornets fell to the Gurdon Go-Devils last week, but head coach, David Bennett, feels it was a learning experience for his young squad as the prepare for the upcoming conference season and playoffs.

This week, the Hornets will travel to Mt Ida to take on another former conference foe, the Mt Ida Lions.

Bennett said former coach and current Mt Ida superintendent, Michael White, will coach the team Friday night because the Mt Ida junior high team and coaches have been quarantined.

Bennett also shared his keys to victory.

Tonight, the Mineral Springs Jr High team will travel to Horatio to play the Lions.

Kickoff Friday night in Mt Ida is scheduled for 7 pm.
