Murfreesboro Chamber Of Commerce Banquet Set For Next Month

Jane Fuggitt is the secretary of the Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce and she announced the chamber’s annual banquet is scheduled for Thursday, Feburary 13th in the Murfreesboro High School activities building.

Fuggitt said this year’s theme is “For the Love of Diamonds” and the guest speaker is Caleb Howell who is the superintendent of the Crater of Diamonds State Park.

Fuggitt reported the chamber will present several awards including the Humanitarian Award, as well as New Business of the Year Awards and Rattler of the Year Awards. She said the public will choose the winner of the Humanitarian Award.

Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased from any chamber board member, the mayor’s office or at several different businesses in Murfreesboro.
