Nashville City Council approves increase in fire inspection fee

The Nashville City Council held their regular monthly meeting last week.
Fire Chief Justin Thorton presented an ordinance to the council that would increase fire inspection fees.

Thornton also presented an agreement from Brently Mountain Fire Apparatus which is a business that lists and sells used fire trucks. 

The council approved the ordinance that would increase fire inspections fees and the agreement from Brently Mountain Fire Apparatus to list and sell the Nashville Fire Department’s fire trucks.
