Nashville hosts Elkins tonight on ‘the Hill’

Football returns to Scrapper Stadium tonight for the first time in almost a month, as the Scrappers host Elkins in the 4A playoffs. The two teams have met previously in the playoffs, but Coach Mike Volarvich says there’s not a lot of familiarity with the Elkins program:

Looking at the remaining teams in Nashville’s half of the playoff bracket, Coach Volarvich says there are several squads who are staples of the post season:

Kickoff for tonight’s Nashville/Elkins game will be at 7 o’clock. Tickets remain available through the school district’s Facebook pages, website & the Scrapper athletics twitter page. No tickets will be available at the gate.
The Scrapper Booster Club’s trailer will also be open in front of the stadium today at 5:30 for fans to purchase shirts and other items.

Besides the Nashville game tonight, the 7-4A Conference will be represented by Malvern playing at Shiloh Christian, Robinson will be at Stuttgart, and Arkadelphia plays Warren. In the 3A playoffs this evening, Melbourne will travel to Prescott and Centerpoint is at home against Camden Harmony Grove.
The 2A playoffs feature only one remaining team from the 7-2A Conference, as Foreman travels to Fordyce.
From the 5A, there are a handful of teams remaining from this regions. Texarkana will be at Wynne, Magnolia will be at Pulaski Academy, and Hot Springs Lakeside will host Little Rock Christian.
