Nashville Police Arrest Pair on Burglary Charges
Two people have been arrested on residential burglary charges in Nashville. Monday, police were dispatched to a residence on Harrison Street, where the owner of the rent house reported that no one was supposed to be living at the residence. When officers arrived, they found 39 year old Amanda Melson and 20 year old Austin Jones, both of Nashville, inside the residence. Police Chief Amy Marion said there was evidence that the two had been living at the home, without permission, for a while. Police also say the home had been damaged.
In addition to the residential burglary charge, Melson and Jones are also being held on charges of criminal mischief.
