Nashville Rotary Club Hears From Local Runners

Kim Howard and Mandy Ferguson were the guest speakers at this week’s Nashville Rotary Club meeting.

Howard stated the Watermelon 5K is next weekend and is still accepting registrations. Howard said the run is part of the Arkansas Grand Prix Series which has 20 races.

Howard runs about 45 miles a week while Ferguson runs about 25.

Howard said he started running to stay in shape and he continues to do it because of all of the camaraderie.

Ferguson said she started running in 2012 and finds it to be a great stress release.
