New ownership of Starz Family Restaurant

A Nashville business is changing ownership this week.  Today is the last day for Mark and Jamie Dowdy to own Starz Family Restaurant.  The Dowdy family has owned the business the past 18 years.  Mark Dowdy said he has been involved the restaurant business the past 40 years.  Both say they are most appreciative for the friendships they have made with their customers from the Nashville trade area while owners of the business.  Mark Dowdy also said being a Main Street business owner in Nashville is just like being part of a family.

While Mark Dowdy plans to enjoy time with grandchildren, camping and fishing, Jamie Dowdy says she will continue working at the business.

The new owner is Lawrence McClane, who has been employed at Starz the past 15 years.
