NHS coach Worthen speaks to Nashville Rotary Club
First year head Scrapper basketball coach, Aaron Worthen spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club this week.
Worthen said the Scrappers are 4 and 7 on the season and 3 and 2 in conference. Worthen stated this is a good group of players who play hard and are getting better.
Tuesday night, the Scrappers defeated the previously undefeated Hope Bobcats. Worthen said Arkadelphia, Fountain Lake and Hope are currently tied for first place with one-loss each.
Worthen said the district may or may not have a district tournament, but the Scrappers have a good shot at making it to the regional and possibly the state tournament, this season.
