NHS Signing Ceremony Part 2

NHS SENIORS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT:
CALEB COOK, EMILY BAILEY, JETT STEPHENSON

Thursday the Nashville School District held a signing ceremony for three students. All three students signed to Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Emily Bailey who will be majoring in Sports Medicine, Jett Stephenson who will be majoring in Political Sciences, and Caleb Cook who was awarded a $16,000 dollar scholarship for four years.

Today we will highlight Senior Jett Stephenson who also plays for the Nashville Scrapper Golf Team. Golf Coach Aaron Worthen stated that Stephenson started showing up for the Scrapper Golf practices when he was a 7th grader and was still able to hit a golf ball. Worthen expressed that Stephenson was showing signs of being an impressive golfer even at a young age.

Stephenson said that he is planning to go to law school after he graduates from SAU. Stephenson also expressed how much this moment meant to him to have so much support the day of the signing ceremony.
