Public hearing in Mineral Springs creates list of current needs

Monday evening, the City of Mineral Springs held a public hearing to determine whether an application for Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program funds should be applied for.

During the public hearing, citizens  established a list of several community project priorities. The list included addressing sewer system issues, water system improvements including the installation of additional fire hydrants along with upgrades to playgrounds, walking trails and sidewalks.

Mayor Vera Marks concluded the meeting by stating she would start the application process and list the citizens suggestions.
