Scrapperette softball team enters Spring Break on 3-game winning streak
The Nashville Scrapperettes Softball squad enters spring break this week with a three game winning streak. In conference play Friday at Futrell Field, the Scrapperettes put up a 16 to 1 final score over Hop, and then won a doubleheader at Atlanta, Texas Saturday. Nashville won the opening game by a score of one to nothing, as the Lady Rabbs left the game tying run at third base and the winning run at second base in the their final series of at bats. In Saturday’s second game, the Scrapperettes won by a score of 6 to nothing.
For the Scrapper Baseball team, they also head into spring break with a winning streak of two games. Friday afternoon, the Scrappers traveled to Vilonia, where they were a 10 to 1 winner in a non-conference game.
Both local teams will be off throughout this week and return to conference play with a busy schedule, following spring break.
