Scrapperette Softball Team hosting Scrapaganza Day fundraiser

Today is Scrapperette Softball Scrapaganza day and the Scrapperettes will be selling chicken dinners for $10. The dinner consists of boneless chicken thighs, potato casserole, beans, a dessert, bread, and bottled water. It is their biggest fundraiser of the year and has become a tradition in the community.

They will start the day off at Diamond State Bank parking lot located at 1410 South 4th Street from 11am to 1pm and then the activities will take place at the Nashville City Park this evening at 5pm.

Coach Boomer Brown stated that this has been going for about 15 years but since this is an all-day event that’s how the name Scrapaganza Day came about.

Brown also said that they will have walk-ups this year and he’s thinking about doing a few prizes to give away during the game “Let’s Hit a Deal.”

Small donations are accepted but are not required. You may purchase a ticket for pickup or delivery from any softball player or text Coach Brown at 870-833-0521.
