Scrappers advance in Ralph Gross Memorial Tournament

Kason Willard’s bat helped provide the offensive power Nashville needed in an 12 to 2 win over the Warren Lumberjacks Thursday afternoon on the opening day of the Ralph Gross Memorial Tournament at Wilson Park.   Willard went four for four at the plate, including a grand slam homerun and a double on the afternoon.   He was responsible for driving in six of the Scrapper runs yesterday.

Garrett Willard pitched the five inning game for Nashville.  He struck out eight Lumberjacks, while walking just one batter in the contest.

The Scrappers will play their next tournament game this evening at six o’clock
