Nashville Chamber Of Commerce Annual Banquet

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce honored individuals and business owners Monday night during the annual awards banquet.

Center Point Fire Chief Alan Green was named the chamber’s Man of the Year.

Cheryl Power, a long time teacher, community volunteer and business owner, was selected the Woman of the Year.

Other individuals receiving honors included Andrea Pinegar. She won the Orange and Black Award for her role with the Scrapper Supermarket.

Local business owner Andi Reeves Green was presented the chamber’s Bloom Where You’re Planted Award and Max Tackett received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The chamber also honored the lives of seven people with a memorial recognition. Those awards were given to the families of Jerry Jacobs, Andy Anderson, Vernon Wildbur, Joey Jamison, Charles Sharp, Tom Strasner and Helen Millwood.

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce honored several businesses during Monday’s awards banquet. Remodeled Building awards went to Smokehouse Pizza, Rehab Specialists, Angel Nails, Hoppin Nutrition Bar and Roo Bungee, Flex Gym, Lisa Chandler Insurance, What Fur Dog Grooming, Nashville Nutrition Den and the Occasions Building which hosted last night’s banquet.

Two new building awards were given. Those went to Husqvarna & Pilgrim’s Pride.
