Washington man arrested on several charges in Nashville

A Washington, Arkansas man has been arrested on assorted charges in the city of Nashville. Police Chief Amy Marion said officers responded to a call of a domestic disturbance the evening of March 16th. Police say 28 year old Brian Carnell Stuard was being sought in the incident. He fled from the scene and eventually eluded authorities in a vehicle pursuit.
Chief Marion said her department obtained a warrant for Stuard and he was arrested Friday, when he showed up to the probation and parole office.
Stuard was released from the Howard County Jail yesterday. He was held on charges of Aggravated Assault on family or household member, Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons and for fleeing.
