Dierks School Board holds special meeting to make changes to bank signature card

Tuesday, the Dierks School Board d held a special called meeting at 5 pm to change the district’s bank signature card.

Board president Jared Tipton asked for a motion to remove former superintendent Jody Cowart and board treasurer Wendell Garner from the signature card. The motion was approved and board members then voted to add Superintendent Grover Hill and new board treasurer Kara Tedford to the signature card.

Board members then went into executive session for over an hour. When the board returned they voted to hire a paraprofessional.

The board’s regular board is scheduled for July 18.
