Junior Scrappers becomes District Conference Champs

Thursday night the Nashville Junior Scrappers defeated the Malvern Jr Leopards in their final conference game of the season.

In the first quarter Miles Hawthorne would score the first touchdown of the game and here is the call as heard on B 99.5.

Quarterback DJ Jefferson then scored on a 30-yard run putting the Scrappers up 13 to nothing.

In the 2nd Quarter, Jefferson would score his second touchdown of the game giving the Scrappers a 21 to nothing lead. Ivan De lo Santos kicked the point after, and it was good. Here is the call from Mike Aylett.

In the first half the Jr Scrappers had a total of 281 yards. Jefferson had 12 carries for 65 yards and Hawthorne had 7 carries for 82 yards.

Bryce Perrin intercepted the ball in the 3rd quarter and scored on a 52-yard run.

Late in the game, the Jr Leopards would put six points on the board, but the Jr Scrappers came out on top winning their final game on the Hill.
