Scrappers defeat Camden Harmony Grove in non-conference action

The Nashville Scrapper baseball squad picked up a non-conference win yesterday over Camden Harmony Grove, by a final score of 5 to 1.  Yesterday’s win was the second in a row for the Scrappers over a previously undefeated team.  Nashville also handed Ashdown its first loss of the season Wednesday afternoon.

In yesterday’s game, Nic Garcia and Kaleb Hunter were the top hitters.  Between the two of them, Garcia and Hunter went five for six from the plate.  They also scored one run a piece.

Aiden Chapman pitched 4 innings in relief to get the victory.  Chapman struck out a pair of Harmony Grove batters, while allowing no runs on just one hit.
