Youth sports programs growing at the Nashville Parks and Recreation

Nashville City Park Director Meghan Floyd stated that the sport activities have been growing. The flag football program has 101 players, K-2nd grade basketball has 51 players, and soccer has 284 players.

Floyd also mentioned what’s taken place at the Nashville City Park.

Floyd also talked about the Pack the Park event that was held this month. There were 95 cars in attendance and they raised $3,000 dollars. This money helps benefit Howard County Historical Society, Save the Museum, and Relay for Life.

Floyd also mentioned upcoming events that will take place at the Nashville City Park.
