Nashville School District holds signing ceremony

Tuesday afternoon, the Nashville School District held a signing ceremony for seven students. Three of the students signed to compete in shooting sports at UA Cossatot, one female soccer player signed to play at North Arkansas College, one softball player signed to play at South Arkansas Community College and two band students signed to continue playing in the band, one at the University of Arkansas and one at SAU.

Wren Washburn, Colton Cox and Aiden Evans, all signed to compete on the Shooting Sports team at UA Cossatot. Coach Vicki Cook mentioned why these three young men will excel at UA Cossatot.

Nashville High School Band Director Cody Ford stated Jackson Carter and Ethan Cavanagh were wind ensemble leaders playing trumpet and trombone, respectively.

Softball coach Brian Boomer Brown praised Hutchinson for being a leader for the Scrapperettes this season.

And, soccer coach Makayla Clift said Perla Rios had been on the Nashville soccer team for four of the programs seven year history.

All seven students received a pen and case that says Once a Scrapper on the case and Always a Scrapper on the pen.
