Dierks City Council Announces New Police Chief

Dierks City Council met Monday evening. During this meeting John McKee was appointed as Dierks new chief of police. McKee has served as the department’s investigator and has an extensive career in law enforcement in both Howard and Sevier Counties. The council also voted to move Patrolman Zack Shankles into McKee’s former investigator position.
