Area Deer Harvest Report

Through the first two weekends of the modern gun deer season, Howard County has reported 1,644 deer killed. 999 of that total has been bucks, according to the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.
Deer harvested in Hempstead County so far stands at 1,868, and Pike County has reported 2,385 deer killed so far this season.
The statewide number stands at nearly 124,000 this season, according to game & fish.
