CARES Grant Applications at UA Cossatot

The University of Cossatot recently received an additional $387,000 in funds for student financial relief. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security funds are intended to offset expenses students may have as a result of COVID-19. These expenses need to be indicated on the application to be considered. Funds are available to students enrolled in the spring of 2021. These funds became available yesterday, April 15th in the following amounts. Students enrolled in 9 credit hours or more are eligible for $500 while students enrolled in 3 to 8 credit hours are eligible to receive $250. There is no deadline to apply but funds are limited. An update to eligibility guidelines now allows dual-enrolled high school students to apply for these funds as well. Dr. Steve Cole, Chancellor for UA Cossatot says that as long as these funds continue to be available to the University they will be put into the hands of students as quickly as possible.
