COVID-19 cases on the rise in Southwest Arkansas

Howard County is seeing a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases as we near the end of October. The latest numbers from the health department report 41 active cases, with 14 deaths now being reported. There have been 577 total cases of the Corona virus this year and 522 people are listed as recovered.
In other neighboring counties, Sevier County is also climbing, now reporting 69 active cases. Hempstead County has 48 cases, Polk County has 30 cases at the current time, Little River is reporting 22 and Pike County has the fewest in the area, with 11 active cases.
