Glenwood man arrested for drug possession

On August 7th, 2023, Nashville Patrol Officer David Shelby had made contact with suspect 38-year-old Jesley J. Capps of Glenwood. According to the affidavit Shelby known for Capps to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. It was reported that after Shelby verified through the on-duty dispatcher of the warrant, Shelby took a cigarette package away from Capps and located a clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine inside of the package. Capps was taken in custody and charged with possession of a schedule II-controlled substance.
