Governor Asa Hutchinson Announces Appointments

Governor Asa Hutchinson today announced the following appointments and re-appointments of area residents to state boards and councils:

Denise Sweat, of McCaskill, was re-appointed to the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Term expires on January 14, 2026.

Jay Bunyard, of De Queen, was re-appointed to the Arkansas Economic Development Council. Term expires on January 14, 2026.

Clay Crump, Kirby, was re-appointed to the Marine Sanitation Advisory Committee. Term expires on October 5, 2024.

Bill Poynter, Texarkana, was re-appointed to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission. Term expires on January 14, 2029.

Michael Cranford, Foreman, was appointed to the Arkansas Spinal Cord Commission. Term expires on January 14, 2031. Crandford will replace Darrell Loveless.

And Darrell Allen, Hope, was appointed to the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Board. Term expires on August 1, 2023. Allen replaces Russell Gibson.
