Howard County 4-H Youth Excel in Livestock Ring

As October comes to an end and livestock shows are winding down, Howard County 4-H youth have excelled in the livestock ring. This year, besides the local Howard County Fair, 4-H youth have participated in the Four States Livestock Show, Southwest District Fair, Arkansas Youth Expo and the Arkansas State Fair. They have made Howard County 4-H very proud! Many backdrop photos were taken and ribbons, buckles and banners were won.

If you are interested in showing livestock, joining 4-H or just need more information about showing, contact Mrs. Samantha, at the Howard County Extension Office, at 870-845-7517. Youth that participate in livestock showing gain experience in the showring and knowledge of their species.
