Howard County Farmers Market opens Friday at 7 am

This coming Friday —— the Howard County Farmers Market will be taking place. It will open at 7am and if you do come out your are encouraged to do your part in preventing the spread of COVID by observing social distancing guidelines. Masks are not mandatory but encouraged due to the seriousness that COVID prevents those in the higher risk category. A look at what to expect at this year’s farmer’s market includes a variety of fruits and vegetables, pastries, breads, jams and jellies, farm fresh eggs, and honey from local beekeepers. WIC vouchers will be accepted at tables indication they are authorized to do so. Last year’s market struggled due to limitations and restrictions that were evolving around the COVID-19 virus but those coordinating this year’s event are hopeful for a good turnout and would love to see you there.
