Legacy Academy Holds First Homecoming Announces Court

LOCKESBURG, AR—Legacy Academy will host its first ever Homecoming on Friday night in their gym in Lockesburg at 5pm, prior to Homecoming basketball games against Gospel Light of Hot Springs. Homecoming festivities begin on Thursday evening at 5:30 pm with a school wide bonfire and cookout. On Friday, the homecoming court, made up of Freshman-Senior girls, will have a special afternoon with their moms to prepare for the night. The school has arranged for professional hairdressers to be on site and the afternoon will include special moments for the moms and daughters together, centered on a look at the definition of inner beauty found through the life of a woman following Christ, based on the scripture “Your beauty should not come from the outward…rather your inner self” found in 1 Peter 3:3-4. The homecoming ceremony will be held in the Warrior gymnasium beginning at 5pm, where the girls’ fathers will escort them in the ceremony.
