Nashville District Waiting on Chromebooks

Earlier this summer, the Nashville School Board approved spending 416 thousand dollars in federal grant money to purchase 11 hundred Chromebooks & protective sleeves. Like other districts across the country, Nashville officials are waiting on those Chromebooks to be produced and shipped. Superintendent Doug Graham says the company is having a hard time keeping up with the demand for the technology.

Graham said the local district will have a plan in place in the event the Chromebooks aren’t here by the time school starts.
