Nashville man arrested for residential burglary

On June 9, 2023, Kane Hubbard, 28 of Nashville, was arrested on a felony warrant for Residential Burglary and Theft of Property.  The arrest was a result of a report made by the owner of 202 South 4th Street in Nashville.  The owner reported that air conditioning units were missing from one of the apartments after renters moved out on June 4, 2023.  When Investigator Tim Bowlin went to question neighbors in the rear apartment of the house, he noticed an air conditioner on the porch partially covered by a rug.  The owner of the residence identified the unit as being one of the two new ones he purchased the month before.  No one was at the residence at the time, but when Investigator Bowlin went back to the residence later the same date, he saw the matching air conditioner on the porch sitting on a chair.  The renter, Kane Hubbard, would not come to the door or return phone calls.  A warrant of arrest was obtained for Kane Hubbard.  He was located at the residence on this date and was arrested by Lt. Clinton Tedford and Jarrett Rogers without incident.
