Nashville School Board Meets

The Nashville School District’s facilities master plan for the next two years was approved Monday evening during the regular November school board session. Superintendent Doug Graham says at the top of that list is a fine arts center.
Other priorities include a new roof at primary school and additional renovations to Wilson Park. Looking down the road 10 to 15 years, the superintendent says the district will have to do something about its land situation as there’s not any room to expand the facilities.
All personnel employed with the Nashville School District as of November 18th are set to receive a one thousand dollar bonus. During Monday’s school board meeting, Superintendent Graham recommended the bonus and the four board members present voted unanimously for the recommendation. Employees should receive the bonus in early December.
