Nashville Scrapper Trap hosting tournament

The Nashville Scrapper Trap Team is gearing up for the tournament this Saturday in Grandview. Trap is a shooting sport as well as an extracurricular co-ed activity to high schools that could be offered to students in grades 6th through 12th who have their firearms safety certification.

NHS Seniors Aiden Evans and Colton Cox provided the details of the event, what the proceeds will go towards and mentioned the sponsors that made contributions to the Nashville Scrapper Trap Team.

Evans also talked about how long he’s been in the trap career along with what activities and organizations he’s been involved in since 9th grade.

Cox discussed how his journey in Trap came about and how many patches he’s gotten so far.

The Nashville Trap team attends a tournament almost every weekend. Cox and Evans talked about how many schools attend the tournaments and how many shooters are on a team.

Cox even talked about an individual tournament called Last Man standing.

Evans explained how to get to Grandview for those that are interested in going to the Trap Tournament this weekend.

The Nashville Scrapper Trap team will be hosting this tournament and it starts at 7am.
